Dear Parents,

The academic year continues to unfold as the Remove (Y6) children started their  SATS exams. It's an opportunity for the children to apply their knowledge and highlight the progress they have made. This week I have also had the opportunity to reflect  on the importance and the benefits of our extra-curriculuar clubs offer

Year 6

As well as working hard to complete our SATS, there has been a buzz of excitement in the Remove classrooms as we continue our countdown to our French trip on Monday. Our geography lesson was spent mapping out the route we will be taking to Rue in France. Great discussions about the different motorways, counties and coastlines were had, not to mention the surprise some children felt when they were told the coach would be getting on the train at the Eurotunnel! Mrs Kimberley and I gave a small rendition of 'The White Cliffs of Dover' much to the entertainment of the children. So many questions are being asked as the excitement increases. Don't be late on Monday Remove!

Achievements...

Niko Blue Peter - Niko has been growing his Blue Peter badge collection as this week he was awarded his Blue Peter sports badge. He achieved this badge based on his efforts to represent his school in the under 7s football tournament at Papplewick School where he was the top goal scorer for St Bernard’s.
