CoronaVirus (COVID 19)

We continue to monitor the situation as it develops with regard to COVID19, and to follow the detailed guidance we are receiving from UK government. In particular, we continue to reiterate to pupils the government’s guidance on hygiene including the crucial importance of regular and thorough hand-washing and the proper use and disposal of tissues.

While it is possible that future measures to contain the spread of the virus in the UK may result in the need to restrict certain activities, we are keen to continue with our planned programme as long as it is reasonable and advisable to do so. Careful contingency planning is taking place at St Bernard’s in case we need to enact special arrangements, to cancel any activities or even to continue pupils’ education remotely.

Should the situation change, and as new government guidance emerges, I will of course let you know.
