As part of our Jubilee of Hope celebrations St Bernard's Prep partnered with ISing Pop to create an all school event that culminates in a lovely afternoon and evening of concerts for the whole school at Holy Family Church.  

ISing Pop's mission is to empower children, parents, schools, churches and communities to find their voice, and know they are loved.  They support schools in creating inspirational collective worship.

Children rehearse the songs during the week and then perform in a concert at our local church at the end of the week to which all parents, carers and family are invited.  The songs are inspirational positive pop songs and help to share Christian values with the children.

We received wonderful comments from parents and children about our last concert, 

'It’s amazing that they (the children)  learnt all of that in such short space of time and the messages and meanings behind the songs are so lovely and positive.'

It also is reported to have a positive influence on the children - One child told his mother “Mummy I’m going to make sure that no means no and yes means yes, so when I said I would do my piano practice tomorrow I will”!  His mother told us that he was still singing and humming the songs around the house afterwards.
