The Great Fire of London

Our Year 2 classes are learning about The Great Fire of London. They made their own Tudor houses out of paper and straw and were able to watch how quickly a fire can spread when they are built closely together. The children were able to answer questions on how the fire, which started in Thomas Farrinor's bakery in Pudding Lane, was able to spread so throughout the city.
